ON DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

What type of Deliveries do you offer ?

Items ordered are delivered to the specified destinations using the local postal service. Maltapost service is used for shipping products outside Malta.

Can I use alternative shipping options?

Yes, you can but we would have to quote you a customised shipping price for your preferred shipper, and that would delay the order.

Do you provide a free delivery service?

If your order exceeds €30, we send your products free of charge

Can I pick the products from your store?

We are strictly an online business.

How long does it take for my items to arrive?

This depends on the item ordered and the delivery service chosen. As soon as items are completely paid, items are packaged within the next business day and then it usually it takes 5-7 days to arrive in Europe and 14-20 days for deliveries outside Europe.

Deliveries to Malta and Gozo are usually performed during office hours within 3 working days from payment.

Do you do International deliveries?

We can deliver worldwide.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to clear the goods from Customs upon receipt in non-European Union countries.

Prior to ordering, customers are kindly requested to check with their local regulations governing the importation of products in their respective country. Maltaspecialties.com shall not be held responsible for non-compliance to Customs / Import regulations in force in the respective countries of destination.

Can an order be cancelled, after it is placed?

Yes, but within limitations. If the order has already been sent and given to our shippers, it cannot be cancelled.

Do you have any warranty on the products for sale?

As we do not produce such products ourselves but simply give a reselling service, we cannot give any warranties,. Any warranty requests are to be directed to the original manufacturer of the product.

Customs clearance

It is the responsibility of the buyer to clear the goods from Customs upon receipt of the order in non-European Union countries. Prior to ordering, Customers are kindly asked to check with their local regulations governing the importation of the products being purchased in their respective country.

Maltaspecialties.com shall not be held responsible for non-compliance to Customs / Import regulations in force in the respective countries of destination.

What is your return policy?

You may return most new and unopened items sold by Maltaspecialties.com within 5 days of delivery for a full credit note refund. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error if you have received an incorrect item. Make sure that you contact us immediately after the goods are received.

What do I do if I receive a damaged or defective item?

If the item you received is damaged/defective, please contact us, within 5 days from delivery, quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product, details of the fault, and if possible photos. 

On the basis of the information received, we will then advise you accordingly.

MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

How do I find the product that I want?

You can chooe Products from the main menu and all products will be listed. Alternatively, you can search for products via the search bar.

I cannot find the product I want

If you cannot find a product on the website then there could be various reasons namely;
a) the product is not Made in Malta,
b) the product is not for sale on MaltaSpecialties.com.

Hence, in these circumstances, we kindly ask you to contact us with the product details and we will do our best to try and find the product which you require.

In which currency do we accept payment?

We prefer to accept payments in Euro

Does each transaction include any taxes?

In Malta, whenever applicable, Value Added Tax (VAT) has to be charged. The price displayed for each product is exclusive of VAT. VAT at the applicable rates will be charged in case of deliveries to EU countries. Once the delivery address is specified and the items are placed in the shopping cart, VAT will automatically be calculated by the system.
